Independence

Vendors and creators do not pay Saltbench for placement, ranking, or coverage. We use affiliate links — disclosed on every page — but they don't influence our verdicts. We publish unfavorable reviews of products we earn commission on whenever the receipts tell us to.

Sourcing

Every concrete factual claim in a finished review links to its source. Vendor sales pages, public records, third-party reviews, and primary research are cited. We do not paraphrase a creator's claims as if they were our own.

Corrections

We correct errors openly. If a review contains a mistake — factual, attribution, or otherwise — write to us and we'll update the page with a dated correction note.

Catalog stubs vs. full reviews

Most pages on this site are catalog stubs: machine-generated entries with the vendor's listing data and no editorial verdict yet. Stubs exist so readers can find offers and compare them. A stub becomes a full review when the desk has read the sales page, mapped the price path, and written a verdict.
